Darkness overwhelms us all from time to time. It is extremely important to understand in difficult times we can always retreat into the peace inherent in Universal Consciousness, the underlying energy we are all apart of.
This essence is what the Masters Buddha Jesus Satchidananda and the like were all hinting to us about, it is within us, it surrounds us, it is us. Getting past ourselves to understand this purity, this simplicity, should be the primary goal for all of us in this life.

Instead, we allow our attachment to ego define us. This attachment to the outside world is what makes us fear the Truth and feel inadequate; our ego convinces us we are not “allowed” to reach the heights the Masters speak of. But for those who have done the work, reached this place of solitude, it is possible to awaken to the true self. And in that moment when you glimpse your true nature, it will become quite clear to you why you have chosen to embark on this adventure.
